Vote Jeremiah Wheeler

 Jeremiah Wheeler is running for Wayne State University Board of Governors because he believes Wayne State has the capacity — and the responsibility — to lead on access, justice, and statewide impact. Not someday. Now. 

 States with great public universities thrive statewide. The Upper Peninsula, Western Michigan, and Central Michigan deserve to feel the benefit of WSU's research and innovation — in addition to metro Detroit. 

 Getting into Wayne State is only the first step. Too many students — especially first-generation students, returning citizens, and those from under-resourced communities — arrive on campus without the support systems they need to actually finish. Jeremiah will fight to fund the wraparound infrastructure that turns enrollment into graduation.

Wayne State was built to be a place where first-generation students, working families, and communities of color could access a world-class education. Jeremiah will fight to keep that promise alive.

• Hold Wayne State accountable to the communities it was built to serve.
